Sunday Devo - December 10, 2023

“O holy night! The stars are brightly shining, It is the night of our dear Saviour's birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining, Till He appear'd and the soul felt its worth..
A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices, For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn…
Fall on your knees! O hear the angel voices! O night divine, O night when Christ was born; O
night… divine, O night, O night divine”

It is easy to get caught up in the busyness of the holiday season- scurrying about, shopping, decorating, and baking cookies. However, we need to stop and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. JESUS.
Fully God, and fully man, born into the world in a humble fashion, and providing an eternal hope!
Referring to Jesus, Paul said, "being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men." (Philippians 2:6-7)
