God's glory in our Story

Calvary Chapel Point Loma "CCPL" began in 1991 as a little group meeting at a local elementary school. In the years since, God has abundantly blessed us with a great church family worshiping and serving the Lord together, being built up by the study of God’s Word, which we believe is God’s "owner’s manual" for life and His love letter to us.

Our desire is to reach Point Loma, Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, our country and the whole world for Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8). We are a city on a hill that cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14). We believe all people need and should have the privilege of knowing Christ Jesus and the love of God (John 3:16-17).
