Sunday Devo - October 8, 2023

1 Timothy 6:12
"Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses."
Many times spiritual battles are thought of as something really bad, which come along
requiring special biblical meditation and guidance. As we see in the verse above, we should
always “fight the good fight of faith”.
This is a way of exemplifying our lives for the honor of God in obedience to Him, which is practiced daily and goes on continuously, in order to gain eternal rewards.
As I was talking this over with friends this week, we realized how easy it is to get distracted and to fall into handling life our own way apart from God; which is a dangerous place to position ourselves.
